Frequently Asked Questions

Do you accept insurance?

No, I do not accept insurance. However, you may use a Health Savings Account (HSA) card to purchase functional tests and supplements.

How long will it take to see results?

The timeline for clear skin varies from person to person. Because we focus on addressing the root causes of skin concerns rather than masking symptoms, long-term results take time. Many clients see significant improvement within a year, though some may clear sooner, while others may require a longer process. Consistency and adherence to your personalized protocol are key to achieving lasting results.

How often do I need to schedule appointments?

  • Topical Appointments: In the beginning, follow-up appointments are recommended every few weeks to assess your skin's response to topicals and make necessary adjustments. Since your initial topical regimen will evolve quickly, frequent check-ins are necessary. Once your skin stabilizes and you're on a long-term regimen, appointments can be spaced out to once a month or every other month.

  • Internal Healing Appointments: For functional nutrition and internal healing, follow-ups are typically scheduled every 2-3 months to adjust protocols until full skin restoration is achieved.

What is the cost of each visit?

Please refer to the Services & Pricing page for detailed information. In the early stages, topical appointments will be needed more frequently. You have the flexibility to book topical-only appointments or combine internal and topical consultations if addressing both aspects.

How do you achieve results without offering facials or treatments?

Homecare is the foundation of healthy skin, as it accounts for 90% of your skincare routine. While professional treatments can be beneficial, sustainable skin health comes from consistent, effective at-home care. My approach focuses on equipping clients with the knowledge and tools to maintain their skin independently, leading to long-term improvements.

Can I focus on internal healing without using topicals?

No. While you are welcome to start with topical treatments if you’re not ready to address internal healing, I do not work with clients solely on internal healing without also addressing their skincare routine. Many conventional skincare products, even those labeled as "acne-safe," contain harsh, comedogenic, or irritating ingredients that compromise the skin barrier. The continued use of these products can perpetuate inflammation, weaken the skin's defenses, and prevent full healing. My goal is to restore and strengthen the barrier while also addressing internal factors, ensuring a holistic and effective approach to skin health.

Can you work with clients in any state?

I can work with topical clients in any state. However, I unfortunately cannot order functional tests to New York, New Jersey or Rhode Island at this time.

Do you work with teenagers or only adults?

I work with both teenagers and adults. However, successful treatment requires commitment and consistency, which can sometimes be more challenging for teens due to their busy schedules and desire for quick results. Because of this, I only work with teenagers who have the full support of a parent and are very dedicated to following their personalized skincare and/or wellness plan. If a teen is ready to commit to the process, I tailor treatment plans specifically to their skin’s unique needs and healing capacity.
